In order
to bring about positive change and improvement in the overall
welfare and treatment of unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected
animals throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Kentucky
Coalition for Animal Protection, Inc. (KCAP).
KCAP has
been formed to expose and address the seriousness of the situation;
to offer and implement compassionate and humane solutions
designed to alleviate and eliminate all unnecessary animal
pain and suffering; and to compel the enforcement of Kentucky's
animal control and welfare laws.
In addition,
KCAP will seek to establish avenues of communication with
the Kentucky General Assembly to pave the way for, and offer
support toward, the introduction of legislation aimed at improving
conditions for all animals throughout the state.
"We
will speak for those that cannot speak for themselves and
we will stand and be heard so that we may educate, inspire,
and motivate others."
